I work with animals and also am a animal photographer ,,,
I am adding to a portfolio of women using similar elements of
light, form, and energy as my animal photography,,,for a future gallery show,,,

I tend to use natural and available light and warm weather is the best time for outdoor photos,,,

My horse photography is primary and is part of the atmosphere
of what I do regarding horse presentations as a connection with nature,,,
The nudes are to have a similar element as my equine photos,,,, -

Mon, June 22, 2009 - 9:00 AMI think this is pretty much standard thinking for the general public, Sol. If you are an established photographer of nudes, you're ok. If you're just trying to get started, you're a pervert. I don't get it. Not trying to say that you haven't done it before, just that most people would assume that you're just a pervert, wanting to ogle the ladies. Never mind art, until you have an established name. Once you have established that name, you can create whatever crap you want, and people will still consider it art. Not just in photography, but in music, and many other areas. Just my opinion.

if you're new to the game and/or experimenting, try model mayhem. you should be able to find a model willing to work with you there. -

in my work with horses and dogs regarding behavior, and with
people regarding connections with nature,,,
the photography sets up the atmosphere and is part of what
I do also, since 1980,,, during a move a few years ago, a couple
of boxes of photography got dumped,,,so I am building up
compelling images,,,when i go to some galleries its really a waste
of time,,,a lot of images are like a tourist took them, an image is to draw
the viewer into the image, to be compelling ,,,when you look at my horse images they are
a little different than what is out there,,,and the same as my other images,,,
thats why i offer to meet at some public place, and discuss ideas, details and show
aspects of my portfolio that isn't here,,,on tribe,,, -
